DeLand Almost Done!
almost 6 years ago – Thu, Jun 18, 2020 at 03:27:26 PM

Hi everyone! We're writing with some really happy news!

We just got word from USPCC that the Regular and Stripper versions of the Daisy and Nifty decks are slated to be finished by the end of this week.

With luck that means that the decks leave the factory and are en-route to our warehouse by Friday. Transit from Erlanger to Cali is usually about a week. So right now we expect to be able to start shipping decks out to everyone right around the end of the month or beginning of July, assuming all goes well with the shipment.

The Gilded decks/Collector Sets will be done a few weeks after the standard versions, as is usual regardless of factory shutdowns. Based on all of this new info, we hope to have ALL orders shipped by the end of July.

Thank you all for your continued patience and support - we know we're all dying to get these cards! USPCC is still not totally caught up with their backlog and fully back up to speed since reopening last month after their extended shutdown, but we know they're working hard to get things back to the usual schedule.

Please feel free to contact us directly via PM with questions or concerns about your individual order. To protect your privacy, we cannot reply to public comments with specific order details/info.

Thanks, and we'll be in touch again soon once we know the decks are en route to our warehouse, and when fulfillment is beginning!

USPCC Reopened - DeLand Update
almost 6 years ago – Mon, May 18, 2020 at 04:43:35 PM

Hello everyone. We hope you're doing well and staying safe.

We have some happy news to report. USPCC opened back up a few days ago as planned. They are under a heavy backlog of various projects that were in progress prior to the shutdown, but they are working hard to get everything back to normal and get projects out as quickly as possible.

Right now they've given us a completion ETA for the DeLand project of approximately mid June. This is a complex project with 2 decks that each have multiple variations, so there is a lot that goes into the finishing process. They're actually having a special meeting with their finishing department specifically to cover all of the details of this project to make sure everything gets done without a hitch.

We know it's been a long wait, and we appreciate everyone's patience. We're just as excited to get these decks out to everybody (and use them ourselves)!

We'll continue to give updates once the decks are completed, en route to our warehouse, and then going out to all of you.

Thanks for your continued support of this campaign! As always, you can message us directly if you have any questions about your specific pledge.

Lockdown Update
almost 6 years ago – Wed, Apr 29, 2020 at 07:44:30 PM

Hi everyone. We hope that each of you is doing as well as can be expected during these difficult and unprecedented times.

Just wanted to pop in and give everyone an update on DeLand, since it's been a little while.

In our earlier update, we let you all know that UPSCC had shut down in accordance with stay-at-home policies. While USPCC is still shut down as of right now and does not have an official reopening date announced, we are happy to say that they have reopened their shipping department. So that is a step in the right direction back towards normalcy.

Unfortunately, when the shutdown began, our DeLand decks had not yet been finished. So we still need to wait for the factory to be officially reopen and resuming production. Once they do reopen, it is hard to say what the turnaround time will be for our decks to be ready-to-ship, as timelines will likely be skewed due to the backlog created by this unusual situation.

Thank you all for your support during all of this. Rest assured, it WILL be over at some point. The factory WILL reopen, and you all WILL get your decks. Right now there is a big question mark hovering so many aspects of daily life, so the best we can do is keep you informed when there is actual news to report.

We'll be in touch again once we have a good idea for a realistic (and unlikely to change) delivery window.

In the meantime, please stay safe, and feel free to reach out directly via the KS messenger system if there's anything we can help with.

Thank you!

Covid Closures/Delays
about 6 years ago – Wed, Mar 25, 2020 at 09:32:31 PM

Hi everyone. Just a quick update for you all. First and foremost, we hope you are all healthy and safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. While it is a chaotic and uncertain time, hopefully we can all take advantage of having more time at home with our loved ones.

USPCC has announced that they will be shutting down as of tomorrow evening, in accordance with new policies recently put in place by their local government.

Right now the shut-down is slated to last for at least 10 days, at which point the situation will be reassessed. They may be able to reopen at that point, or they may have to have a prolonged closure.

We'll continue to stay in touch with them to find the latest news ASAP. In the meantime, of course, this means that there will be delays in the completion and shipping of the DeLand Centennial decks.

We know that they will be worth the wait, and of course it is better for everyone to be safe so that life can return to normal as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your continued support, and we'll be in touch when we have new estimates for when the decks will be completed and shipping.

Survey Lock & General Update
about 6 years ago – Wed, Mar 18, 2020 at 07:10:37 PM

Hi everyone. First and foremost, we hope you are all doing well and staying safe amidst the chaos of coronavirus as it sweeps the world. This is an unpredictable time and is affecting people from all walks of life across the globe. Like all things, it will pass with time, but it's important now to stay vigilant so that we can reduce the effects as quickly and effectively as possible.

Right now, as far as we know, production lines at USPCC are still operating as normal. We know that several personnel are working from home, but to the best of our knowledge the factory is running at normal capacity. This means that we still expect the decks to be completed around the end of March or beginning of April. More than likely we'll begin shipping around mid-April.

Of course, unexpected delays may happen, particularly as shipping services and systems are being heavily stressed.

At the moment though, we're on track to continue moving along as planned & scheduled.

We will be locking down the BackerKit surveys this Friday. That means you have a couple more days to make any final changes to your shipping address or add-on selections.

If you're not sure if you completed your survey, or never received the email with your survey link, please send us a direct message and we'll get it squared away ASAP.

We'll continue to post with any major news, delays, completion dates, etc.

In the meantime, it shouldn't be long before we have these awesome DeLand decks in our hands!

Thank you all for your continued support, and stay safe out there!
